Serendipity Megarip Changelog

What's new in Serendipity Megarip 5.4.02

Dec 18, 2013
  • New Features / Enhancements:
  • Mac OS X dongle driver is now compatible with Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks, allowing the Server to run on that operating system.
  • Mac OS X version of the software package now installs to run in 64-bit mode by default.
  • ThruBlack render effect added to Pagesetup. Allows users to set a threshold coverage level above which black areas of an image are removed on rendering. This setting is used to conserve ink when printing to a black media, such as a t-shirt, where the material itself serves as the black in an image.
  • Configure Ncolour function (button) added to Paper Profiles allowing users to profile printers loaded with non-standard replacement ink sets. The interface is used to customise a printer ink set, change ink names, define ink colour, light inks and device spot inks.
  • Reset Linearisation function (button) added to the Lineariser application. If required, the function regenerates the linearisation chart to match the loaded Media's colourspace and paper profile.
  • Visual Warning - Overlap and Visual Warning - Out of Bounds options added to Studio Settings. When active, any studio frames overlapping another frame and/or outside the defined media area will display with dashed borders.
  • Spot Colour Mapping data is now displayed in the Used Media section of Job Info and in the Item Info when a Media node is selected in an Archive.
  • EAE Soft Proof Interface driver has been added to the Press Agent application.
  • Bug Fixes:
  • RGB colour picker in Studio - Canvas Wrap Frame Options now correctly allows a colour to be picked from the screen on which the Canvas Wrap Frame Options popup window is located.
  • The spacing value in the Studio application's Step and Repeat popup dialog is now remembered.
