- Added some Curved Text controls to the inspector window. Curved text can now be set to: Circular or Spiral. The spiral "rate" can be adjusted from "Slow" to "Fast". Spiral text works best with larger text boxes.
- Added a "Print Label Outlines" setting to the Preferences dialog. Previously, this setting was in the Print dialog, but it interfered with Leopard's print preview feature
- Added a "Crop To Labels" setting to the Preferences dialog. This setting should be normally enabled when printing directly onto a CD/DVD, but can be disabled for other label types.
- Added stepper buttons next to the font size field in the inspector window. This makes it much easier to resize text.
- Label documents have the option of printing page numbers and the current date at the bottom of each page. These settings are now ON by default (but can be turned off using the Options button at the bottom of the window in Preview mode).
- Fixed a crash that would occur when printing documents with images whose settings (hue, saturation, image effects, etc.) had been changed. This only occurred under Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger).

- Added a circular text feature. The angle of the text is user adjustable and the text can be drawn "inside" or "outside" of the circle.
- Added zip code sorting for contacts. When sorting by zip codes, the codes are displayed in the contact list. This option can be selected via the Preferences window.
- Key Improvements:
- When disc labels are printed, the content is now clipped to the printable area (this is important when printing directly onto discs)
- When the search field was used to search for a particular contact before printing a label/envelope, the printed contact was actually the first one in the contact list rather than the selected contact -- fixed.
- When text is UNLOCKED and edited in Preview mode, the font/size of the edited text would change -- fixed.
- When a line of text was used to crop an image and a drop shadow was then applied, the entire graphic would draw black -- fixed.
- When a GROUPED object was saved in the Favorites bin, dragging the group onto the design canvas would work correctly; however, double-clicking the group would cause problems -- fixed.
- Fixed some window "jittering" when switching between Design and Preview modes.
- Fixed some display problems where images with image effects applied would appear garbled at small sizes. This only happened under Leopard.

- EPS images aren't a native image format on Mac OS X although they can be displayed with the help of a converter. The converter is very slow so as soon as an EPS image is added to a design, we convert it to a PDF.
