- Fix an issue where some of the views in the iTunes browser were not showing any items.
- Fix the zoom slider which I broke in the last beta.
- Updated some of the error strings to be more consistent.
- Fix that the wrong error was showing when the file for an iTunes item was missing.
- Fix the display of cover art that is not a 1:1 aspect ratio.
- Fix the navigator display when the waveform display is smaller than the visible area.
- Fix the layout of the back button in the browser when space gets tight.
New in Ringer 2.0 Build 806 Beta 5 (Sep 25, 2013)
- Update the protected warning screen. It now looks more like the iPhone version.
- The browser item now stays selected.
- Performance improvements when selecting media. Some media takes some time to load before its content can start being read. Ringer now shows a large progress spinner while this happens instead of hanging the app.
- Improve the loading of cover art. There are still some cases where iTunes seems to be hiding it but I think I have covered all the reasonable cases.
- Added a dialog after creating a ringtone and importing it into iTunes. This has some instructions and a button to show iTunes.
- Various visual improvements.
- Tried to improve the contrast of the selection duration text in the blue selection area.

- Improved waveform drawing speed. This is a pretty significant change so please let me know if you see anything strange.

New in Ringer 2.0 Build 768 Beta 3 (Sep 3, 2013)
- This version mostly includes improvements to accessibility. All controls should now be accessible.
- I changed the policy for where Ringer saves ringtones that are to be imported into iTunes. I am reverting back to an older policy where the files would end up in the Tones folder in the iTunes music folder. Apple originally objected to this and I relented, but now if they object I plan to appeal.
New in Ringer 2.0 Build 758 Beta 2 (Sep 3, 2013)
- Add an advanced features side panel. This lets the user directly type in the start time and length of the selection. This is useful for users needing assistance.
- There is now a manual volume adjustment and slider in the advanced panel.
- Tons of work to make the app more accessible. There is still a lot more to do but the browser can now be navigated with the keyboard and the lists will read the correct content when using VoiceOver. Please let me know how things are working via VoiceOver.
- The selection size is no longer in the footer of the window and is now in the selection area in the editor.

- The waveform can be zoomed in and out to better select the right portion of a song. Zooming can be done with key commands, using the mouse wheel, and using the pinch gesture.
- The ringtone can now be saved to a file using the Save As... command. The file can be saved as a m4a as well as a m4r file.
- Undo now works for selection changes to a song.
- Videos will now preview as you play or scrub the play position.
- Add Twitter support so you can now send an update describing the ringtone you created. This will include the name of the song and the artist if possible.
- The waveform selection now uses the system preference for selection color.
