  • Bug fixes:
  • Drag feature has been fixed. Use the drag button like you used to or hold down alt then drag your images and drop them wherever you please
  • Undo button has been fixed. Some users had trouble with the undo button, which has now been lovingly repaired.

  • By default images are automatically scaled to 72 PPI when shared. In Preferences there's now a setting to turn this behavior off. If you’re on a Retina Mac you might want to do this to share snapshots in their full resolution.

  • “Could not import the clipboard because the file is not a TIFF file.” when dragging or pasting image in Photoshop.

  • This update brings a few improvements to the "View on Glui.me" service that you access by right-clicking on images in the Finder:
  • GIF and BMP files are now supported.
  • As an image is opened in the browser its URL is copied to the clipboard.
  • You can now quickly open the /Dropbox/Apps/Glui/ folder from Glui. Do a "View on Glui.me" on any uploaded image and a "View All…" item is added to Glui's menu.[1]
  • Other minor bug fixes.

  • Access full upload history via the Finder. Go to "/Dropbox/Apps/Glui/", right-click on any image and choose "View on Glui.me".
  • Super quickly upload images via the Finder. Just right-click on ANY image and choose "View on Glui.me" to upload it in the background. Boom!
  • Click on notifications in Notification Center to view the uploaded image in the browser.
  • Set Glui to automatically close its window after an upload.
  • Resize text with ⌘+/⌘- or by dragging a text item's resize handle.
  • Enjoy other refinements.

  • The new pixelation tool makes it easy to obfuscate parts of images that you don't want to share, e.g. email addresses, names, etc.
  • The new "Image from Clipboard" feature let's you quickly open images that you've copied to your clipboard from the menu bar, or via ⇧+⌘+7.
  • Removed the "Fullscreen Snapshot" as it was very rarely used. If you still want to capture the full screen you can do a crosshair snapshot and select the entire screen. Oh, and yes, I consider removing something an addition.
  • Annotations now "pop out" more with a subtle drop shadow.
  • Draw smoother freehand shapes with the improved pen tool.
  • Added "Save Image" to the share image menu.
  • Fixed an issue related to saving really big images.
  • Other minor improvements.

  • Fixed bug that prevented you from sharing images via email. (I'm really sorry. Shouldn't have missed this one!)
  • Upload history now is kept in sync if you use Glui on more than one Mac.

  • Reseting keyboard shortcuts now also resets the "Bring to Front" shortcut.
