New in QuickGPT 1.4.4 (Jun 6, 2023)

  • There is a bug in ChatGPT when the window is narrow (so narrow that the sidebar hides), the text field changes behavior to add newlines when pressing Return instead of submitting the message. QuickGPT used to work around this bug, however, this workaround now causes a weird problem where messages end up empty after submitting. I tried to fix the workaround, but it only fixed it for some users. This workaround is now removed. If you find the ChatGPT bug annoying, I recommend sending a bug report to the ChatGPT team: [email protected]

New in QuickGPT 1.4.3 (Jun 6, 2023)

  • Fixed an issue where the prompt would sometimes end up empty. This only applies to new messages. Existing blank messages will unfortunately remain blank.

New in QuickGPT 1.4.2 (May 28, 2023)

  • Worked around a macOS bug where the window size and position would not be preserved.
  • Removed the share button. The service used for it has been down for a while now. And OpenAI is slowly rolling out native share capabilities.

  • Fixed the "Hide menu bar icon" setting.

New in QuickGPT 1.4.0 (May 19, 2023)
