  • [New Features]:
  • You can now add your myQNAPcloud devices to Qfinder Pro by using your QNAP ID. In particular, devices outside of your LAN can be added this way and then accessed by using myQNAPcloud Link. Note: Devices added using your QNAP ID are automatically bookmarked.
  • [Enhancements]:
  • When importing devices via a bookmark file, you can now specify which devices will be imported into Qfinder Pro.
  • In order to display more accurate information, the Qfinder Pro device list now automatically refreshes when Qfinder Pro is opened from the Dock or from the menu bar.
  • [Other Changes]:
  • Starting from this version, newer Qfinder Pro versions will be released in progressive stages so that certain users will immediately receive notifications about the newest Qfinder Pro versions, and other users will receive these notifications later. However, all users can always manually download the newest version by going to "Help > Check for update".

  • Users can now update the firmware of NAS devices with all firmware update types if the device supports QTS 5.0.1 (or later) or QuTS hero 5.0.1 (or later).
  • Qfinder Pro will now display a “New” icon in the version column when a new firmware update is available for the device. Hovering over the icon will reveal a tooltip showing the type and version of the firmware update.
  • Users can now view the upload status of all files and folders of an upload job by clicking the job’s details icon in the Media Upload window.

  • When opening the browser to the device's login or home page, Qfinder will now use the HTTP or HTTS setting that was specified for the device when it was first added to Qfinder.
  • Qfinder Pro now accesses your QNAP devices with the default web browser of your Windows operating system.

  • Fixed an issue where the Media Upload window would display the wrong language if Qfinder’s language was set to German.
