  • Lots of small bug fixes and corrections

  • Fixes its incompatibility with Lion (Mac OS 10.7).

New in PortraiMatic 2.0 (Aug 26, 2010)

  • Aesthetic improvements
  • The driving idea was that the application should integrate better with Mac OS 10.6. I hope you're convinced by the result.
  • Resizable window In previous versions, for reasons of development time, the main window used to have a fixed size. It is now resizable so it can be deployed on the whole screen.
  • This allowed to increase slightly the maximum value for the portrait's zoom (from x2 to x2.5): this value is a compromise with the length of the bar so the slider remains easy to handle with a mouse or a trackpad. A wider window allows for a longer bar, hence a greater zoom factor.

New in PortraiMatic 1.2.1 (Oct 12, 2009)

  • Warning when the resolution is too low - PortraiMatic now warns when the resolution of the input image is not sufficient.
  • Confirmation before deleting a portrait - IThe user must now confirm the deletion of portraits.
  • Countries sorted alphabetically - In the Format dialogue box, countries are now sorted alphabetically, as they ought to.
  • Indexing of documentation - InHelp files are now correctly indexed, so you can search the documentation.
  • Removed Swedish format - ISweden has been removed from the list of supported countries, as the old National Guidelines link did not point to the right information, and we were unable to find a correct one.

New in PortraiMatic 1.2 (Sep 17, 2009)

  • New main window.
  • Reframing indications.
  • Fixed a bug on the Gallery.

New in PortraiMatic 1.1 (Aug 24, 2009)

  • You can now print sheets directly on your printer. This opens new artistic horizons. You may now cover your walls with passport photos of your mother-in-law. Don't thank me.
  • The resolution has been raised to 300 dpi. Because users asked me to, because it does matter with the best photo labs, and because the size of generated files remain reasonable.
  • A link to the National Guidelines is presented in the main window. National Guidelines used to be in the Help files but were useless, as no-one (me included) reads docs.
  • Preferences. First appearance, with the possibility to move the Gallery of portraits, and even merge two galleries. You may now share a gallery between several user accounts. How ?… See Help.
  • Portrait formats are now in the language of the application. You can no longer know how to write Resume or Passport in japanese. It's a lot less funny, but way handier.

New in PortraiMatic 1.0 (Aug 5, 2009)

  • Initial release.
