New in PhotosCollage 1.3.2 (Jun 24, 2017)

  • A new option has been added to the Preferences window for blending labelled 'Inset By Cropping'.
  • If this option is NOT selected then images will be inset by scaling them down to reveal the background color rather than by cropping them. Inset by cropping is the default.
  • This is useful if you want to inset the images to reveal a background color without trimming any of the images.

New in PhotosCollage 1.2.4 (Feb 25, 2015)

  • New option in Blender Preferences: 'Uniformly Crop Images' with option to 'Fit' or not. This option facilitates blending images of various different sizes by choosing the single best image size in which each image will be either cropped or scaled to fit inside of. (Note: this option is only for the Blender, not the collage)

New in PhotosCollage 1.2.3 (Feb 6, 2015)

  • Help menu link to the website has been fixed.

New in PhotosCollage 1.2.2 (Jan 22, 2015)

  • General maintenance update.
  • There is now an "Image Inset" slider available in the blender Preferences. Specifies how many pixels each image should be inset, prior to blending, revealing a background color set with the adjacent color picker. The final result is also inset so that the "outer" border is of the same width as the "inner" borders." If not blending but making a collage, then the inset is applied to the collage itself.
  • Added a button labelled 'Open Result in Preview' in the Result window to open the blender result in Preview.

  • Updated to remove dependence on QuickTime.

New in PhotosCollage 1.2 (Apr 1, 2014)

  • New option checkbox named “Scale Layout” to automatically scale the image to a reasonably large size automatically. Otherwise the actual size is rendered.
  • New option checkbox named “Flipped” to flip the direction of the collage: ordered from top to bottom, or bottom to top. Default is "not flipped" so the origin is at the "top-left" corner of the collage. Otherwise the origin is at the bottom left.
  • Fixed an issue with blending images of different resolution.
  • A new blend option is available: Click and hold on the "Blend" button to reveal the popup menu to select "Blend Square". This option blends 4, 9 or 16 images into a 2x2, 3x3 or 4x4 array, respectively.
