  • You can now exclude Headings from Word and Character Counters. Hold the Option key in the Counter menu to see additional settings.
  • In addition to that, settings for various background style options and typing noises have been consolidated under a new menu called Effects.

  • You can now choose a custom font from the library of fonts on your device. In addition to that, for custom fonts, you can pick preferred weights, as well as adjust the letter spacing.
  • Despite having this option, it is still recommended to stick to the predefined font set since those fonts have been optimized to look good in all situations. Custom fonts don't have the same treatment and therefore might look off in some cases.

  • This setting replaces tabs with spaces when copying lists to clipboard, since tabs look too long in these apps.
  • To enable this setting, go to the Paper menu, hold Option key, and under Nitpicking select "Use Spaces to Indent Copied Lists".
