New in PST Bridge 2.0 (Sep 23, 2014)

  • The application has been redesigned to improve its user interface and include several new enhancements. These are some of the changes:
  • Different views depending on the item type being displayed: messages, tasks, sticky notes, journal entries, contacts and appointments.
  • Sorting options for item lists are now specific to their folder type.
  • Items can now be grouped. The available grouping property will be determined by the folder type.
  • New calendar views for appointments (day/week/month).
  • Message formatting has improved and complex html messages are now displayed correctly.
  • If a message has remote content, you can specify wether you want it to be automatically or manually downloaded.
  • The way to handle attachments has been improved. You may now visualise them with a quick-view window, open with the default application for the file type, choose an application, save, save as, and save all in one click.
  • Search patterns are more powerful. You may specify different patterns for different fields. You may decide to match any, or all patterns.
  • Items can now be filtered using a separate input box, which is located at the bottom of the item list. Search and filter can be combined.
  • Text find: Once you locate a message of interest, you can find and highlight text in it.
  • The folder tree view has multiple modes. You may select which mode you want by clicking on the quick mode selector at the bottom. You may choose to display all folders, or only messages, contacts, appointments, tasks, journals or notes.
  • Tasks may now be exported as reminders. Because this option requires the Reminders application, it will only show under OS X 10.8 or higher.
  • Notes may now be exported with different formats: simple text (txt), rich text (rtf), or as messages (mbox).
  • Bug fixing:
  • After computer reboots the application can now remember previously opened files.
  • Other minor fixes.
