PDFMaker Changelog

What's new in PDFMaker 2.0

May 29, 2010
  • This version is completely remade in Cocoa/Objective-C. This was far more easier due to the memory management. The leaks generated in the previous version are all solved and the interface is made more simple. Now the Picture Information panel only displays the image if it’s visible and thus only uses memory if it’s visible. The Preview Panel also gets cleared on close and it remakes the PDF when the user rescales the view. This was necessary to keep the PDF in a high resolution. The main window now uses attributed strings to display the paths. The directory is shown in a brown-like color and the name in plain black. When checking paths, the missing files will show up in red, though they still get selected. When exporting, the application uses a progress bar in an overlay window, which is far better looking.
