- Income tax exemption limit for senior citizens has been raised to Rs 3 lakhs.
- Investment limit under Section 80C has been hiked from current 1 lakh to Rs 1.5 lakhs.
- Housing loan interest exemption has also been increased from Rs 1.5 lakhs to Rs 2 lakhs.
