  • The custom Touch Bar Escape key is disabled in macOS 10.12, as it seems to cause crashes there.
  • Changed all in-app and help references from "Mac OS X" to "macOS," as we should've done long ago.
  • Worked around an issue that prevented Moom from working with Electron-4-based apps, such as Discord.

  • Added fixes to enable Moom to work in tandem with Tweetbot for Mac:
  • Skips sanity checks, which allows Moom’s keyboard mode, custom controls, and snapping mode to work with Tweetbot.
  • Implemented a Tweetbot-specific workaround for detecting their non-reporting green zoom button. This is a conceptually horrid thing to do, because if the Tweetbot UI changes, there’s a good chance our workaround will then fail. The upside, though, is that hovering over the green button in Tweetbot now shows Moom’s palette.

  • Create custom controls to use via hot keys and/or menus. Custom controls let you turn Moom into a customized tool that does just what you want it to do. You can create a custom control for any Moom action, and then access that custom control via a defined keyboard shortcut, or via the menu bar menu. You can even access these custom controls in the mouse palette, via an option in the Mouse section of Moom’s settings window.
