New in Momentum for Chrome 0.96.5 (Aug 22, 2017)

  • Some of you may be familiar with the bookmarks bar that appears in the default Chrome new tab page (what we call the Chrome Tab). Previously, if you had disabled the bookmarks bar in your browser, you weren’t able to view your bookmarks within Momentum. Some of our community missed this Chrome feature, so we’ve added it to the dashboard. You can now import your existing bookmarks and view within Momentum by enabling the Bookmarks Bar: Settings > Show Bookmarks Bar.
  • We've also added a bunch of options to the Bookmarks Bar and some long awaited updates to the Links widget as well. Check out Settings > Links (on the left) to find out more.
  • Updates to Links & Bookmarks Bar:
  • A new Links section can be found in the main settings. Here you'll find a variety of link/bookmark options.
  • Import/view your existing bookmarks by enabling the "Show Bookmarks Bar" option.
  • Enable the Bookmarks Bar to quickly access your Most Visited or other favorite websites.
  • The Chrome Tab and Apps links can now be set to show in Links, Bookmarks, the dashboard itself, or just hidden.
  • Enable the “Show icons only” option to see a cleaner view of your links/bookmarks without text, allowing you to fit more bookmarks in.
  • Local links are now supported.
  • "Remember open state" added to keep the Links widget open.
  • Other Improvements
  • “View in ...” option added to Todo. Click the integration icon in the top left of Todo to view that project or list on its website. To see a specific task, click the ••• dropdown on a todo and click "View in...". It's now much easier to jump into a board or task and do any further organization on it.
  • “Show assigned to me” icon added to Todo header for any integrations that can have assigned tasks. Currently this includes the Trello integration.
  • Fixed a bug where Momentum would get stuck on the loading screen.
  • Google Tasks integration no longer requires regular “retries”.
