Menu Bar Splitter Changelog

What's new in Menu Bar Splitter 2.0.1

Jul 18, 2021
  • Fixed an issue where removed splitters would come back if the app was force quit or your machine was restarted.

New in Menu Bar Splitter 2.0 (Mar 28, 2021)

  • Big Sur and Apple Silicon Support:
  • Menu Bar Splitter is now fully compatible with Big Sur (including a fancy new icon!) and is compiled natively for Apple Silicon machines. No Rosetta needed where we’re going.
  • Custom Icons:
  • You can now add your own custom icons for your splitters. The size of the splitter will automatically adjust to accommodate whatever image you have selected, and you can add as many as you want. You can even rename your icons and set them to follow the system appearance.
  • Note: This update removes the Bartender Compatibility Version. As of Bartender 4, it works as intended with the main Menu Bar Splitter app and you can independently hide and show splitters, so the BCV is not required anymore.
  • Added:
  • Added native Big Sur and Apple Silicon support
  • Added a new app icon
  • Added the ability to set your own custom icons
  • Changed:
