  • Indicators are now also in the message header, next to Date Received. Now you can see at a glance if notes, tasks, or follow-ups were added to the message. It's still shown even when the Context Sidebar is collapsed.

  • First impressions are incredibly important, so we've made our communication even more clear should you ever come across a login or registration error.
  • Sometimes a message template wouldn't work properly when composing a message - an extra bracket here, or a missing period there. So we've provided more helpful messages so you can quickly locate and fix the error, and get on your way to sending your message.
  • When selecting from the message template dropdown, subject lines are now visible. It detects whether you've already set a message subject, or if left empty, will insert the template's default subject.
  • The summer sun helped us defrost a frozen compose window when sending a message untracked.
  • We now support spaces in macOS short usernames. Use them wisely.

  • We want to make sure you're informed of what's new and changed. After each version update, you'll now receive a notification that lets you find our release notes.
  • In earlier versions, users who disabled Undo Send pop-up could still use this feature in Outbox by right clicking on the sending message. We've made this a lot easier by adding a banner on top of each outgoing email.
  • When a message is tracked, in earlier versions you had to hover over the checkmark to see first open date. Which, could have been easier if it's just there. It's now automatically shown next to the blue ticks, as soon as it's opened.
  • You can now quickly undo your message with keyword shortcut
  • You can define your working hours to personalize when Mailbutler sends you notifications. Maybe it's hard for apps and bots to understand the human concept of sleep, but we found and fixed a bug which caused Mailbutler to ignore those set hours when snoozing emails and sending follow-up notifications.
  • Sorted out a problem which caused undoing a message to also undo whichever email tracking mode you have manually selected, and revert it back to the default setting.
  • Fixed an odd issue when you pick multiple tracked messages of your own (from your sent folder) and forward them, they would unintentionally be marked as opened.
  • Resolved several incompatability issues of Mailbutler with CargoLifter.
  • Fixed UI glitches that caused avatars in Undo Send pop-up to sometimes show up incorrectly.

  • Messages sometimes stuck around in the outbox for an extra up to 30 seconds when Undo Send was enabled. That's a really long time. Unless you're really into correcting mistakes like we are. Mistakes like this one right here. We fixed it.
  • Sometimes a scheduled message showed the scheduled time instead of actual delivery time. This may or may not have revealed some midnight workers who pretend to email at 9am. On the bright side, we got it fixed in 2.2.5. It's eliminated. Done.
  • We also fixed an issue where some users couldn't install our plug-in.

  • Some users reported that Notes and Tasks attached to a message get hidden inside conversation view. Now they don't. They're always there.
  • We fixed an issue where the email header in Mail could disappear under 10.12 Sierra (which is, by far, the weirdest bug we encountered).
  • Mailbutler was quite confident that you should opt out from newsletters that it thought was junk. So confident that it hid the 'Not Junk' button from Mail app. We fixed that bug (and attitude).

With the new privacy settings on Dashboard you can now control how much information Mailbutler stores about your emails. The new privacy setting affects how Mailbutler informs you of messages that are tracked, snoozed, scheduled, or attached with a Note / Task on your Activity Feed.
  • We've redesigned and optimized Notes and Tasks: it looks more compact and sleek, and it's now easier to share them with your Mailbutler team.
