  • The new ConceptDraw MINDMAP 15 includes a set of improvements tailored to the needs of our users. We are grateful to active MINDMAP users for the ideas that we use to improve MINDMAP. ConceptDraw MINDMAP 15 for macOS has been successfully adapted to Apple Silicon and is compatible with the latest macOS 14 Sonoma. The new release makes mind map creation clearer and more accurate on both macOS and Windows platforms. Find below a list of improvements that enable you to be more productive with MINDMAP 15 both on macOS and Windows platforms. When designing your next mind maps, give them a try and see how much time and effort you can save.
  • Outline View:
  • View and edit your mind map as a diagram with an updated interface and new editing capabilities.
  • Multi-page Mind Maps:
  • Easily create and design multi-page mind maps. Apply the first page style to the entire multi-page map with one click.
  • Export Mind Map to SVG:
  • Exporting to scalable vector graphics (SVG) for publishing mind maps online is beneficial for optimizing your site and improving search engines ranking.
  • Mind Map Sharing:
  • More social networks for one-click publishing of your mind maps.
  • Mind Map Boundaries:
  • Boundary’s interface has been updated with a new control panel and new shapes to help you visually summarize your thoughts. If you want to summarize some of the ideas presented in your mind map, new boundary shapes are the best way to do that. The new side panel will help with boundaries formatting.

  • ConceptDraw MINDMAP v14 introduces a set of new features designed to boost presenting and sharing of mind mapping projects. The ability to upload mind map presentations directly to your YouTube channel, the new View Options tool, the export of vector graphics libraries from ConceptDraw DIAGRAM along with improved import/export to PDF and MS Word will take your mind mapping skills to the next level.
  • Now there is no need to delete entities that you do not want to display on the mind map. Instead, you can use the View Options commands to temporarily hide unnecessary elements from your mind map face. You can Hide all elements of a certain type (relationships, icons, images, comments, data, etc.) so that they do not appear in the current mind map. So you can quickly release your mind map from some visual details, and then, just as quickly and without the slightest effort, restore the view of the map in full effect. The View Options commands will save a large chunk of your time when you are preparing a mind map for printing or are going to present the same mind map to different audiences.
  • The ability to import ConceptDraw DIAGRAM’s libraries provides you with access to a practically limitless variety of high-quality vector graphics. Unleash your creativity when designing mind maps enriched with professionally designed images, icons, and symbols.
  • You can save your mind map presentation as an MP4 slideshow and instantly upload it to YouTube.

The new release provides improved integration with ConceptDraw PROJECT and gets your specific tasks done quickly. Extended filter and search capabilities are presented in the renewed Filter panel. We hope the ConceptDraw MINDMAP v13 to be the tool that helps you effectively achieve your goals in planning, organizing, and communicating.
  • Additional Functionality for Working with Filters:
  • You can use Filter Panel to search and filter out your Mind Map Information. The purpose of filtering is to focus on the crucial content of the mind map. The filter in ConceptDraw MINDMAP v13 helps to display relevant information by temporarily removing unnecessary entries from the view. You can filter your mind map based on specific criteria, including topics, Notes, and even Symbols. ConceptDraw MINDMAP v13 provides the ability to customize the filter by topic content: icons, callouts, hyperlinks as well, as by project task data. Additionally, you can save your custom filters for the current document.
  • The renewed Filter panel contains three tabs: Filter Map, Data Filter, and Filter List.
  • Improved Topic Date Panel UI:
  • The interface and functionality of the side panels from the Project Management section have been updated. The location of the UI controls has been changed on panels, used to manage data for Milestones, Projects, Project Group, and Human Resources. Several new controls have been added, such as time and resource setting controls.
  • Improved Compatibility with MS Office:
  • ConceptDraw MINDMAP gives you the ability to convert your mind map into an MS Word format, which makes using mind maps in your daily workflow even easier when it comes time to share them with other people. The latest version of ConceptDraw MINDMAP provides the ability to export to Microsoft Word document images as well as multi-page mind maps.
  • Advanced Mind Mapping capabilities:
  • Making a mind map gets our thoughts onto the page organically, allowing ideas to stem from one another as they occur. What if you suddenly find that you missed a thought or idea and it would be nice to find a place for it somewhere inside the already built map? Nothing is easier - you can insert an intermediate topic inside an existing topic chain just in a single click.
  • Improved Interaction With ConceptDraw PROJECT:
  • ConceptDraw MINDMAP allows you to exchange project data with ConceptDraw PROJECT. You can change the project schedule and general project details in the mind map structure. When you open this file in PROJECT, the file will save the date and duration changes made by MINDMAP.

  • Improved Work with Topic Types:
  • The Topic Type functionality helps you structure your mind map content based on the type of information it contains. Each topic type supports a specific set of topic data related to topic content, including attached documents and hyperlinks. The new Topic Types and Data panel makes it faster and easier to assign topic types and manage related data.

The new release provides improved integration with ConceptDraw Solutions and gets your specific tasks done quickly. Improved alignment tools allow you to develop the best clear and creative mind maps. Extended text search capabilities are presented in the new Filter panel.   • Solutions Panel:
  • ConceptDraw Solutions offer a variety of business-specific solutions that extend the software capabilities with numerous task-oriented templates and samples. Using the proper solution will be helpful with specific mind mapping practices. Open the example mind map to modify it, generate a new mind map using the offered template, or export the mind map to other formats that are specific for your audience or task. New Solution panel contains a list of mind mapping solutions. It provides direct access from the application to the content of any solution. Solutions panel displays not installed solutions as well, so you can quickly find the necessary ones and install them using the STORE app.
  • Topic Alignment Tools:
  • New tools for topic alignment appear in the Arrange panel. Align tool is useful to align the mind map topics, floating topics, Images, and drawn objects. Now you have arrangement tools to help assure objects in your mind map are aligned and spaced properly. That helps make a mind map looking clear and professional.
  • Boundary Title:
  • The possibility to add a title to the boundaries enables using the Boundary tool to group visual frames under the general title. As a result, now you can design not only the common radial mind maps but also tables and matrices in the mind map structure.
  • Topics Merging:
  • The possibility to merge topics is implemented. The post-merge text reflects the hierarchy of the original topics.
  • Callout Arrangement Improvement:
  • The Arrange tools were improved to perform better with callouts. Now you can easily place callouts neatly and evenly in relation to their parent topics. Using the “Auto arrange Topic Callouts" button easily allocates multiple callouts around the parent topic.
  • Tree Root Straight:
  • Designed a new type of topic tails appearance — Tree Root Straight.
  • Improved Search and Filter Capabilities:
  • Based on our users’ feedbacks, we have improved the search and filter experience in ConceptDraw MINDMAP documents. The search capabilities were expanded and the user now is able to select search areas for applying the filter using a new Filter panel.
  • Support of Dark Mode on macOS:
  • Since macOS Mojave release, Apple allows third-party software to use it. The high text contrast provided in the Dark Mode facilitates reading of text and graphics documents. Applying dark colors instead of white reduces eye fatigue and improves the perception of mind maps.
