Ivideon Client Changelog

What's new in Ivideon Client 6.18.1

Feb 26, 2024
  • Small improvements and increased stability.

New in Ivideon Client 6.18.0 (Oct 9, 2023)

  • The new version of Ivideon Desktop Client has added bookmark features in the archive! Mark and comment on events in archived recordings directly on the timeline so that you can quickly return to them in the future. When you add a new bookmark, the system saves a small video portion in the export section so that you can view important recordings even if the archive is no longer available.

New in Ivideon Client 6.17.0 (Jun 30, 2023)

  • Now you can change camera settings in Ivideon Desktop Client! Control video resolution and bit rate, microphone, infrared illumination, and more. In addition, archived recordings exported and downloaded to the computer are now played directly in the application interface. The new version generally uses less computer resources and is more stable.

New in Ivideon Client 6.16.0 (Jan 11, 2023)

  • The new version of our application can display camera events directly on the timeline clearly showing when they have occurred. It has become more convenient to fast forward or rewind archived videos using the +/-5 sec buttons, and when you hover over the camera card, its preview will dynamically update.

New in Ivideon Client 6.15.0 (Dec 2, 2022)

  • Ivideon Desktop Client now supports uploading floor plans! You can select the cameras on the plan, adjust their location, direction and angle of view. Click on the camera to watch the live broadcast with a list of recent events.
  • In addition, we have redesigned the timeline with archive records. Now, it is an infinite feed that you can scroll smoothly left and right for any number of days, and the archive entries will be loaded automatically.

New in Ivideon Client 6.13.1 (Apr 14, 2022)

  • Bug fixes and app performance optimization.

New in Ivideon Client 6.13.0 (Feb 18, 2022)

  • New version of Ivideon Desktop Client 6.13 introduces presets for event filters! You are now able to create and save multiple presets for your event feed to quickly switch between them and monitor important events that match different criteria.

New in Ivideon Client 6.12.0 (Dec 6, 2021)

  • Thanks to the updated PC app, observing a large number of cameras has become many times more convenient. Now the layout of cameras for surveillance can contain cells with several cameras at once and they can display not only live feed, but also events!
  • You can select the type of cell display in its settings. When multiple cameras are selected, the cell will display live feed, changing cameras at a specified interval. If the cell is set up to display events, then its videos will be played one by one — from the ones that just happened to the newest, and the event of interest can be given a status right in the cell.
  • The innovation means you don’t have to switch from layout to layout for on-duty viewing of cameras, and you can reduce the number of displays required to monitor what is happening.

New in Ivideon Client 6.11.0 (Aug 3, 2021)

  • When hovering over an archive timeline, preview pictures are displayed next to the cursor allowing you to find the right parts of the archive faster.
  • Push-to-Talk feature which lets you send voice messages using a camera with a built-in speaker has been added.
  • Ability to display events from third party services received via Ivideon Open API has been added.

  • The new version, Ivideon Client 6.9.2, introduces push notifications about events! You can enable push notifications in the “Settings” section by turning on notification sounds. New in Ivideon Client 6.6.0 (Jul 2, 2018)

  • New version that will have you loading video with far less lag no matter what kind of internet you’re dealing with. It’s less resource-intensive, too.
  • If you have a lot of cameras, you’ll be the first to notice the difference. And most importantly, we made sure there won’t be any distortion at lower qualities.
  • In keeping with tradition, we also squashed a bunch of bugs and added a few minor features: * The ability to limit the number of windows you have open. * Automatic updating should you so desire it. * An option to keep your screen from turning off while Ivideon Desktop Client is open.

New in Ivideon Client 6.5.0 (Dec 1, 2017)

  • In this version, a user wanting to see video segments in which motion was detected can now quickly find them in the cloud archive:
  • Select the zone within the viewing area and start the search. The resulting video segments will contain all the moments when there was motion in the selected zone.
  • Adjust the search parameters to filter out insignificant or brief motion, and to splice short video segments into one.
  • The search results will show not only the video segments with previews, but also the motion intensity—right above the recordings in the usual archive panel.
  • You can export the search result directly from the application—then download it from the general list of exported recordings in your web application.
  • In addition, we made a number of interface improvements, and also increased the application’s performance as a whole.
