New in Inklet 2.1.1 (Jan 9, 2018)

New in Inklet 2.1.0 (Oct 12, 2017)

  • Bringing it home with Palm Rejection and Instant Mousing:
  • Palm Rejection You’re now free to rest your palm on the trackpad while you work. By better analyzing the data coming from the trackpad, Inklet is able to pick out which touch is the pen and ignore all other touches. There are a few caveats: It requires using a pen as your drawing tool, and it works best at the edges of the trackpad. Lastly, resting a heavy palm on a force touch trackpad can affet the weight of your drawing, so be mindful of that.
  • Instant Mousing Moving a single finger on the trackpad will automatically pause Inklet. When you’re done moving the mouse, Inklet will restart automatically. In many cases this is faster and easier than using the tilde key or the Inklet hotkey. Instant Mousing is active when working in pen mode. Thanks to David for the suggestion.
  • Inklet is now working in Krita. Thanks, Nick!
  • Pressure sensitivity on force-touch trackpads is now easier to control.
  • "Start inking with pressure" setting is now working properly when drawing pressure sensitivity is turned off. Thank you, Merijn.
  • We hope you enjoy Inklet. Hit up [email protected] or use the Send Feedback item in the Inklet menu to get in touch.

  • The Inklet workspace can once again be used at very small sizes. Thanks, Ashley!
  • Virtual sliders are now working in Blender. Thanks to Ivan.
  • Inklet preferences window opens in front of other windows once again.
  • Cursor movement has been fixed in CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX. Thank you, Kullawee.
