New in HashTab 5.1 (Jan 30, 2013)

  • Added the winner of the NIST hash competition (Keccak) which is now the official SHA3 standard.

New in HashTab 5.0 (Nov 15, 2012)

  • Added some new hashes and support for magnet links. The option to copy magnet links to the clipboard is available under the edit menu. The list of hashes determines which magnet links are available. Click the settings link to enable new hash types.

  • Hashtab now also automatically compares against any text on the pasteboard. If the hash of the file matches a string on the pasteboard, you will be validated automatically without pasting anything into the checksum field.
