Disk LED Changelog

What's new in Disk LED 2.1

Nov 1, 2011
  • Option to show contained volumes instead of disk model as tooltip.
  • Fixed: some external devices didn't disappear when unmounted if "Ignore devices that doesn't contain any media inserted" is enabled.

New in Disk LED 2.0 (Sep 20, 2011)

  • S.M.A.R.T. checks that run regularly and warn you when your hard disk is about to collapse!
  • Option to ignore devices that don't contain any media inserted (useful for ignoring empty optical drives).

New in Disk LED 1.3 (Aug 20, 2011)

  • Even less obtrusive: gapless, smaller icons.
  • Lots of new icon sets to choose from!
  • Minor CPU optimizations when displaying per-disk activity.

New in Disk LED 1.2 (Aug 10, 2011)

  • You can now choose to show one icon per device.
  • Overlay indicators to quickly differentiate between your hard disks and removable devices or optical drives (optional).
  • DiskLED now remembers your choice of showing/ignoring devices by name.
  • And finally, what you all wanted: the pop-up on Thursdays is gone! (no reason to hold those 5 star reviews now!)

New in Disk LED 1.1 (Apr 12, 2011)

  • Select which devices you want to monitor or not and your preference will be saved (for internal devices only).
  • Option to ignore activity from external devices, e.g., flash drives. You can still manually enable/disable each external device.
  • Fixed bug that reported RAM disks and mounted image files activity as disk drive activity.
  • More icon sets.
  • If you don't like any of our beautiful sets, use your own custom made icons! Set any image 72 pixels wide by 18 pixels height to display your disks status.
