  • Nikon DSLR Camera Support:
  • Owners of Nikon digital SLR cameras rejoice! DSLR Camera Remote now supports Nikon cameras with the same robust features that Canon EOS cameras enjoyed in version 1.0. View chart of supported cameras and details on features.
  • Auto Bracketing:
  • The new auto bracketing feature allows you to create a series of bracketed exposures, perfect for creating HDR (High Dynamic Range) images.
  • Burst Mode:
  • If you are shooting action you can now use DSLR Camera Remote to trigger a rapid-fire sequence of images with a supported camera.
  • Updated User Interface with Big View:
  • The user interface for DSLR Camera Remote has been updated to make it easier to find important controls and minimize those that are used less frequently. With the new Big View mode the control panel can be hidden for a larger image preview. In addition, the camera can be fired and LiveView preview can accessed in the horizontal position of the camera.
  • Auto Focus During LiveView:
  • Users love the LiveView function that allows them to get a live, video preview through their cameras lens. Now users can trigger auto focus when in LiveView mode as well.
  • Lightroom Auto-Import Support:
  • A new option has been added to the server to support Photoshop Lightroom's Auto-Import feature.
  • Other Enhancements:
  • There are numerous other minor enhancements to stability and usability, including:
  • New naming system for downloaded images to prevent accidental overwriting.
  • Raw+JPG are now treated as a single entity rather than appearing on the phone as two files
  • Added support for the Canon EOS Rebel T1i/500D/Kiss X2
  • Updated user guide includes a troubleshooting section for users having network or configuration issues. This has a special button in the server dialog for fast access.
  • Disabled controls now stay visible and update as the camera changes. For example if you are working in aperture priority, the shutter speed is still visible and updates as the camera changes.
