  • Rapid Draw:
  • Сreate diagrams faster than ever with expanded Rapid Draw functionality. You can personalize RapidDraw for creating flowcharts using your custom objects.
  • Grouped Objects in a Diagram:
  • Editing objects in a group individually is easy. You can use a special command to change one object in a group without affecting the others. A simple and intuitive navigation system for objects and groups using only shortcuts without using a mouse - means quick editing of complex objects such as tables and matrices.

  • ConceptDraw DIAGRAM v16 brings some important improvements to how you manage custom documents, created with ConceptDraw DIAGRAM. Using the My ConceptDraw panel allows you to easily collaborate on DIAGRAM documents with your team. You can open existing diagrams, move them between folders, or create new drawings for your team to work on.
  • The My ConceptDraw panel displays ConceptDraw DIAGRAM documents, templates, libraries, and presentation files stored in the My ConceptDraw folder on your computer. Subfolders are also displayed if they contain DIAGRAM documents.
  • Place a shortcut to any external folder here, including any cloud storage folder, and you get access to all your DIAGRAM documents regardless of location. You can even create a new document, delete a document, and reveal it in the File Manager.
  • Model your custom solutions. Just pick some pieces of pre-designed content supplied by ConceptDraw solutions, your custom templates, libraries, and sample documents. My ConceptDraw panel provides you with instant access to all your ConceptDraw DIAGRAM stuff.
  • Improved toolbar interface in the macOS version. The toolbar icons got SF Symbols instead of PNG images. So the tools icons have become larger and the selected tool is highlighted with the system color.

  • Raster Adjustment:
  • ConceptDraw DIAGRAM lets you improve bitmap quality. You can adjust brightness, contrast, shadows, gamma and color saturation. Brightness settings allow you to adjust the brightness of all colors and the difference between the light and dark parts of an object.Contrast enhancement allows you to adjust the color of a bitmap while preserving shadow and highlight detail. The Gamma effect enables picking up details in a low contrast image without significantly affecting the shadows or highlights.Using the saturation effect allows you to adjust the colors and their intensity by changing the percentage of white in the image.

  • Enhancements When Working With Text:
  • When you create a diagram, its text blocks are set to the default position relative to objects, but that's not always the best view. The text finding buttons allow you to change the location of text with relation to an object; you can easily rotate a shape's text block. You may need to fill in the text in your charts with symbols or special characters that are not on your keyboard. Now you can easily insert them into your drawing.
  • Multi-Page File Preview in a File Manager:
  • MS Windows and Apple macOS provide several ways to display the contents of files on a computer. The preview panel allows you to get a preview of your documents and pictures, directly from File Manager. Both - Finder on macOS Catalina and Windows Explorer now can display a preview of ConceptDraw DIAGRAM multi-page files.
  • Improved Export to Graphic Formats:
  • An image with a higher PPI usually has a higher quality. This can be important when working with digital images. You can set pixel density (PPI) when exporting your ConceptDraw drawings to some graphic formats, especially when preparing stuff for printing.

The new Crop Tool, renewed Connection Tools, possibility to import/export animated GIF, and other features provided in the latest edition helps move your experience in business diagramming to the next level enabling you to get and share professional-level drawings effortlessly.
  • Crop Tool:
  • The new cropping tool is available for raster images you inserted into your document. You can use the cropping tool to trim or remove unwanted parts of images inserted from files, or copy-pasted from another application.
  • Connectors Improvements:
  • ConceptDraw DIAGRAM provides you with new possibilities for depicting connections between objects. You can make a part of the connector invisible. it is possible to create connectors that do not have a visible connection to the objects by adding two-sided margins (Fields), or one-sided indents (Path). The part of the connector becomes invisible, but it will still be glued to connection points on objects. The ability to visually "break" the connection line is created using smart or direct connectors.
  • Objects’ Functional Buttons:
  • Now you have buttons near the selected object that allows you adding a smart connector just in one click and provide the quick access to action options, custom properties, and a hypernote.
  • Import and Export of GIF Animation:
  • Make an animated GIF from a dynamic presentation generated using ConceptDraw DIAGRAM presentation mode. Embed the GIF animation into your drawing using the new Import capabilities.
  • Solutions Panel Improvements:
  • The new filters added to the Solutions panel will help you quickly find the exact solution that is most helpful for your tasks.
  • Support of Dark Mode on macOS:
  • Since macOS Mojave release, Apple allows third-party software to use it. The high text contrast provided in the Dark Mode facilitates reading of text and graphics documents. Applying dark colors instead of white reduces eye fatigue and improves the perception of visual documents.

  • The Rapid Draw is an automatic drawing system that intends to significantly reduce the time of creating flowcharts and diagrams that consist of typical entities. The new Rapid Draw drawing mode is designed to facilitate the creation of Rapid Draw objects and to make it easier and quicker. The Rapid Draw mode enables creating Rapid Draw objects using keyboard arrows and shortcuts.
  • New Import Capabilities:
  • Import PDF file as Image allows you to import a PDF multiple page document to a multi-paged ConceptDraw DIAGRAM v12 document as a set of high-resolution images, ensuring better image quality.
  • Shape Operations:
  • Now you can design your own 2D object if you need a geometry that is not contained in the Basic Shapes library. The best way to build a custom 2D shape is to take several basic shapes and merge or trim them to get the geometry you need. Using the Shape Operations feature, you can easily create new shapes out of the geometry of shapes supplied in the Basic Shapes library.
  • File Preview in a File Manager:
  • MS Windows and Apple macOS provide several ways to display the contents of files on a computer.   • Styles:
  • The new Style feature lets you apply pre-designed color schemes and formatting to your drawing with one click. Styles are displayed in the Format Panel. You can choose one the embedded style themes or create your own custom style. You can create your own style containing custom colors, effects and text formatting by choosing one of the embedded styles and modifying it. Then, you can save a new style in your ConceptDraw DIAGRAM v12 document. Applying a pre-designed style to selected objects is a quick way to make your drawings aprofessionally looking.
  • Solutions:
  • ConceptDraw STORE contains the ever-growing number of solutions that can help you to solve various business tasks. The updated Solutions panel displays not installed solutions so that the user could quickly find the necessary ones and install them using the STORE.
  • New Text Tools:
  • There are several types of text, which is usually contained in the drawing: diagram element signs, stand-alone text blocks, document title, and comments. The new Callout tool will be useful for adding comments and other kinds of supporting information. It is inserted into a new layer can be hidden for viewing and printing.
  • A new Title block tool allows you to make headings for your diagrams quickly. This text block supports a predefined Title style (font size and central alignment). Unlike the common text blocks, the size of the text in Title block changes along with the resizing of the text box itself.
  • Template Setup Dialog:
  • New interface for setting the parameters of the start template. The new dialog contains all the settings that determine the view of the start template: the units of measure, the page size and orientation, the drawing scale, and so on. The default units of measure are determined by your computer settings. Having all the necessary settings at your fingertips, you can quickly create a custom template for a quick and easy start.
  • Presentation:
  • Now you can highlight the slide edges corresponding to your output device. This allows you to adjust the size of the presentation slide so that it matches the dimensions of the presentation monitor.
