  • ConceptDraw PROJECT v14 contains new functionality aimed at improving the communication of project data. The new micro-reports and exports enable you to exchange project data with the team even more effectively. Project data visualization supports effective project management, especially when it comes to multiple projects. ConceptDraw PROJECT 14 for macOS has been successfully adapted to Apple Silicon and is compatible with the latest macOS 14 Sonoma. A set of improvements for both macOS and Windows versions was inspired by feedback from project management professionals who have been users of ConceptDraw software for many years.
  • Micro Reports:
  • A new line of micro-reports to remind your team on project deadlines. Create manually or set up automatic creation of ready-to-send deadline reminder emails.
  • Export to MS Excel:
  • Export project data to MS Excel spreadsheets "as is", including project schedule, resource allocation, cost data, etc.
  • Hyperlinks:
  • The interface of the Hypernote panel, used for managing hyperlinks and text notes, has been updated. Particular attention is paid to the ease of working with hyperlinks to files and folders.

  • ConceptDraw PROJECT v13 comes with new functionality for allocating resources by groups across multiple projects. The new report that is added to the micro-reports pool enables you to communicate with the project team even more effectively. A set of interface improvements were inspired by feedback from project management professionals who have been users of ConceptDraw software for a number of years.
  • Proper allocation of project resources manages workloads to avoid resources being overloaded or underutilized. ConceptDraw PROJECT allows organizing resources into groups. You can create as many resource groups as you need. A single resource can belong to several groups. Use groups when generating reports to show summary information on resource assignments and loads.
  • Communication with the project team is an important part of a project manager's daily routine. An effective project communication flow ensures that every team member, no matter where they are based, is updated with the information they need when they need it. ConceptDraw PROJECT's micro reports are used to be tactical communication tools that provide status for certain project elements to certain persons. Micro reports are quick to generate and quick to understand, which is why they are popular. A new "Today Task List to All resources" report has been added to the set of reports used for messaging team. It allows you to generate emails with a list of tasks for the current day for all employees with one click.

The Report Wizard allows you to generate a custom project status report based on the ConceptDraw PROJECT file data.
  • Use an Excel document to create a report template. With the help of customizable macros place the necessary data in the required cells. ConceptDraw PROJECT v12 allows you to create a tabular project report based on a custom Excel template.
  • More Enhancements:
  • Improved import of .MPP and .XML files from MS Project 2019.
  • By adding custom columns to a single Gantt chart for multiple projects, you can define your own fields for data that referred to all of your projects running simultaneously.

  • ConceptDraw PROJECT v11 includes some features that can help you manage your projects more efficiently, especially when it comes to multiple projects that involve common material and human resources.
  • Custom Columns:
  • Custom columns allow you to add additional data to tasks in your projects. Custom columns in a Gantt chart grid can include data that you need to use in your project and that is specific to your organization. You can add your own columns of different types. There are three types of custom columns: text, numbers, and date. After adding custom columns to the project task grid, you can sort the tasks for reporting according to stakeholders’ needs.
  • A Single Gantt Chart for multiple projects:
  • When managing multiple projects at the same time, the challenge arises to properly visualize and prioritize all tasks. Using a single Gantt chart, you can easily establish relationships between related tasks - even between projects, so you have enough time to complete your project schedule in the right order. Having multiple projects in a single Gantt chart makes it easy for the project manager to detect if some resources in projects are overloaded.
  • Overloaded Resource Visualization:
  • Optimizing resources during project execution is an ongoing process. No matter how well you allocate resources for a project, sometimes you run into overload. Immediate visualization of resource overload in a Gantt chart indicates a bottleneck. This way, you can take the right action to complete the project efficiently, on time and with maximum profitability.

  • Actual Tasks Completion Status in Multiproject Dashboard:
  • Now you can view the color graphics representation of tasks completion value of each project in the Gantt Chart of the Multiproject Dashboard view. The colored bar represents the situation with the completeness of the project’s tasks. You can see the number of completed tasks, the ones in the process, and those that have not been started.
  • Project Baseline Visualization:
  • The process of tracking baselines in PROJECT becomes easier. Once you have saved a project baseline you can switch on it to the project Gantt Chart view. Being able to see the baseline schedule graphically enables you to compare easily the actual project schedule against the planned.
  • Support of Dark Mode on macOS:
  • Since the macOS Mojave release, Apple allows third-party software to use it. The high text contrast provided in the Dark Mode facilitates the reading of text and graphics documents. Applying dark colors instead of white reduces eye fatigue and improves the perception of projects.
  • Other Improvements:
  • Added possibility to zoom in/zoom out Gant Chart view using a touchpad.

  • ConceptDraw Project 4’s new product registration system allows you to convert your trial version into a full copy of ConceptDraw Project software. With Project 4 there are no additional downloads required. All that is required to activate ConceptDraw Project 4 is to purchase a license from one of our authorized partners, our online store or directly from trained CS Odessa salespeople. Once you have your ConceptDraw Project 4 serial number, it then needs to be entered your trial, which instantly converts the trial to a live product. This process makes it easier than ever to move from trial to actual product, there is no confusion resulting from the existence of a separate trial.
  • New project interface is designed for maximum efficiency and to increase workflow. You can easy navigate between project views using the new tabular toolbar.
  • On the first time you start ConceptDraw Project 4 you are invited to view a project sample folder included with the product, the contents of this folder is a great introduction to ConceptDraw Project 4’s functionality, bringing you up to speed quickly.

  • New progress bar displays an operation’s progress when you are opening a large file or creating a report. This visual indicator of the programs progress keeps you up to date on the product’s internal state.
  • Report dialog improvements now include the ability to use a “Select/Deselect all” option which dramatically reduces the time required for report creation.
  • Navigation between lines on the graphic side of Gantt Chart view is now possible. When moving between task lines in the Gantt Chart, the corresponding task in the text view is highlighted. It is also possible to use a decimal point when you input percentages to Assign Resource allowing you to increase the efficiency of resource management (example -- now you can enter 50.2%, you are not required to round to 50%).
