  • Boring: Delete single mail in a thread. Also, support for ‘Mark unread from here’.
  • Yay: Resize the Mac Compose window.
  • OMG: Add emails to OmniFocus, Things, 2doapp and Bear.

  • Better Copy/Paste - Copy/Paste strips off a lot of unnecessary styles but will retain basic formattings like links, line breaks and lists.

We didn’t have a fixed sidebar as that would go against our philosophy of having a focused and clean inbox. But we quickly realised that it had problems. So we fixed it. No, not literally.
  • The new sidebar will remain hidden, but you can access it by just flicking the mouse to the left when the app is in full screen.
  • The accounts list is not a drop down anymore; it shows up alongside the folder list of the currently selected account. So accessing a folder or an account is now just one click away.
  • But how would you know if you have new emails in other accounts if the sidebar is hidden? Simple. Whenever you get new emails in other accounts or folders, a red indicator dot will appear on the sidebar icon.
  • Don’t feel like moving your mouse to the left to access the sidebar? No problem. Hit Shift+S and navigate through the list using arrow keys.
  • So the nav drawer does its job without being there in your face all the time.
