New in Cadence Desktop Pro 2.0 (May 22, 2012)
- Cadence Desktop Pro now has the ability to use a iTunes library located anywhere on your local hard drive or an external drive.
- You will have to select the location of your iTunes library each time if it exists outside of the default iTunes location.
- You MUST be running iTunes using the same library you have selected for Cadence Desktop to analyze.
- There is also support for using multiple cores , so analyzing is quite a bit faster. This can be turned off and on in the preferences.
New in Cadence Desktop Pro 1.2.7 (Jan 31, 2012)
- Cadence Desktop Pro has been sandboxed in advance of the Mac App Store deadline. This does mean however that your Music library must exist in the default location iTunes creates it.
- 1.2.7 adds support for iTunes match file type to all available CDP languages.

- Compatibility for iTunes Matches songs has been added, for English users only. Support for the rest of the languages is coming shortly. Songs must be downloaded from iCloud to the machine to be analyzed.

- Major update to the actual bpm algorithm that detects the bpm's of each of your songs. For some songs there is an issue with Cadence detecting the bpm as half or double the actual bpm. This release will show improvements in detecting the actual bpm.
