New in CM Batch Photo Processor 2.0.0 (Jun 1, 2016)

  • Added two core features we developed over the year with CM Batch JPEG Rotator and CM Batch JPEG File Changer.
  • First of which the inclusion of the "Use EXIF (Camera Settings) Orientation" checkbox, when you check this before you load the list of photos, the app will determine which photos need to be rotated and at which angle. We removed the "Orientation" settings in Transformation as now you can set different orientation for different photos.
  • Second is the inclusion of the "Keep Original File Creation Date" and "Keep Original File Modification Date" checkboxes. What happens previously was that the dates are changed to the current date of modification. However, by using these options, you can keep the dates as they were. So photos taken years ago will still show the date when it was taken.
  • There are other minor updates included here such as now the app remembers the last folder selected until the application shuts down so it does not need to always revert back to the Picture folder.

  • In this version, CM Batch Photo Resizer supports the ColorSpace Profile. It will allow colorspace present in the photos to be retained or transferred during the image processing. This works conversion between JPEG and TIFF and vice versa.
  • Also available in this version is the ability to change Dots Per Inch settings of the processed photos. To retain the Dots Per Inch of the original photos, set the Dots Per Inch settings to “As Is”.
