- Maintenance version where a few bugs have been fixed and some user-requested features have been added (such as the display of query ID within the Iteration selector).
New in BlastViewer 2.3 (Mar 21, 2009)
- A new version of the KoriBlast Free Viewer (BlastViewer) has been released. The viewer better handles results containing numerous entries: multiple Blast outputs within a unique results file as well as PSI-Blast output files. It is capable of handling larger data files. As a consequence, the viewer now requires a minimum of 256Mo to start. BlastViewer is now able to read KoriBlast native data files, enabling the exchange of data with the KoriBlast platform.

- Direct download of Blast results from the NCBI Blast facility.
- Export hit table data to spreadsheet applications.
- Edit hit table graphical properties (smilies and colours).
- Save/restore hit table layout and properties on/from disk.
New in BlastViewer 2.1 (Jun 11, 2008)
- BlastViewer is now capable of reading BLAST result files produced by the EBI BLAST facility
- BlastViewer now handles NCBI BLAST result files containing several results. These are produced when using either the PSI-Blast system or when submitting several query sequences at once on the NCBI BLAST Web server.
- BlastViewer now handles result files produced by PSI-Blast.
- Enhancement of the BlastViewer's memory manager.
- Minor bugs have been fixed.
