  • Audio File Health Check is now a universal build and runs natively in Big Sur on an Apple Silicon based Mac.
  • Mac OS 10.10 is the first supported version.
  • New preferences settings to accomodate alternate encodings of items with multiple values in MPEG-4 files.
  • A new version of the Repair Files from Audio File Health Check Log Yate action has also been released.

  • Bug fix: When container errors are enabled, all MP3 files were flagged as having ID3V1 tags. This was introduced in v1.6.2.

New in Audio File Health Check 1.6.2 (May 17, 2019)

  • The Log mp3 files which contain ID3V1 tag information setting has been replaced with Log files with non standard tag containers. This will identify MP3 files with ID3V1 or APE tags and APE and FLAC files with ID3 tags.
  • Fixed an issue where the misalignment of an internal table could cause a crash when processing ID3 multiple item tags.
