Timeless For Mac

Whether on our computers, phones, or smartwatches, we see the current time everywhere. There's just no escaping it, and it can end up stressing you out if you're constantly worried about not getting enough stuff done. Clocks are helpful, but maybe we don't always need to know the precise time.

That's the principle behind Timeless. Instead of showing you the current time, to the minute, it displays a range that lets you know what time of day it is. You won't be caught by surprise when lunch or dinner comes along, but you won't be stressing about each passing minute either.

When you install the app, you will be prompted to disable the system clock, which you should definitely do. Timeless comes with its own variant, which will be displayed only when you're not working.

The menu bar indicator looks like an analog clock, but without the actual times. A quick glance will tell you what part of the day it is. The time ranges are fully customizable. If Timeless isn't currently active, a regular clock will be displayed instead.

The highlighted intervals can be configured to the hour, or to the minute with the full version of the app. You decide how large the ranges should be, and the indicator can be disabled automatically when you normally finish working for the day.

Moreover, you have the option of scheduling the application to only be active on certain days. When it is inactive, a regular clock will be displayed in the menu bar instead.

If you always have an eye of the clock, either feeling like you're doing too little or wondering when the day will end, Timeless may be worth your attention. It's not for everyone, but if you don't need to know what time it is at any given moment, it is a great alternative for managing your day.
