MacStitch is a streamlined macOS application that provides the tools and features required to designs for various forms of counted-thread embroidery.

Moreover, MacStitch comes with a user-friendly interface that enables you to easily import clip art, scanned photos or images and convert them into designs ready for print.

Helps you create cross stitch, beadwork, tapestry, knitting and other types of design

Consequently, you can use MacStitch to convert simple images into patterns that you can customize and adjust based on your preferences. You also have the option to import images from your Mac’s clipboard or scan an image directly from within MacStitch.

MacStitch allows you to create a pattern from scratch or you can use the Image Import Wizard to convert any given picture into a raster-like pattern. You can easily adjust the chart size, adjust the number of stitches, decide how many thread colors you want to use, choose the desired threads type

Easily import and convert images into editable designs

With the help of the featured editing tools, you can easily draw full, half, quarter stitches, beads, knots, backstitch, as well as various geometric shapes. The result can be easily exported as PNG or PDF files with just a few mouse clicks.

The Edit menu helps you load a Motif to Clipboard, flip and rotate the selected area, erase the French Knots and BackStitch, add borders, adjust sizes and more. By accessing the Toolbar menu, you can easily switch between full and half stitches, change the brush type, add knots, lines, letters, shapes and more.

Change stitches, add or remove threats and stitches with ease

MacStitch also comes with handy selection tools, an eraser, search and replace functions and multi level undos. You can change the stitch size, pattern style and cloth color via the View menu.

Thanks to the Palette menu, you can add or edit the current thread, flash the stitches on the active thread, replace or remove threads and stitches, reorder the palette and convert your design with ease.
