LIFXstyle For Mac

The LIFX WiFi enabled bulbs can be connected to your local network and be controlled remotely by using a smartphone. The LIFXstyle macOS app allows you to perform the same action, and to further customize their behavior from the comfort of your Mac computer.

Upon launch, LIFXstyle automatically scans your network in order to recognize the available LIFX bulbs. The app will display the complete list in the main window, and you can quickly turn all of them on or off.

However, for the LIFXstyle app to be able to detect the bulbs you need to make sure that you have connected them to the WiFi network using the companion mobile utility beforehand.

For your convenience, LIFXstyle also comes with a status bar menulet that offers you the possibility to control the bulbs or change the active preset without having to access the controller window.

Within the LIFXstyle controller window, you can adjust the brightness or whiteness of each LIFX bulb and then decide to save the preset and use it again at a later time. Moreover, you can assign hotkeys for faster activation.

LIFXstyle can trigger specific actions according to a schedule: it can turn bulbs on or off, can change the bulb brightness or colour, can start listening for noise, or even launch particular presets.

Note that, to use the LIFXstyle scheduling function, your computer has to be running at all times.
