Centurion is a smart and straightforward load balance tool designed to make it as easy as possible for you to handle large number of files in the shortest period of time by distributing the specified files to different drop folders, in order to efficiently process them simultaneously using various applications or other Macs to distribute the overall workload.
In a nutshell, Centurion divides the content of one folder from which files need to be processed, into many other, smaller drop folders, for more efficient handling and processing using third party software.
The fact that Centurion was built with simplicity in mind becomes evident once you start the application, and you will soon discover that working with the app is very easy due to its user friendly interface and neatly organized controls layout.
To enable Centurion to do its magic, you must first choose a Watch folder, which the app will scan and from which it will start distributing the files based on their extensions to different drop folders.
After the Watch folder and the drop folders have been chosen, you must input the maximum number of files that need to be dropped in the drop folders and select a file extension filter that defines the specific files that need to be handled by Centurion.
What’s more, Centurion gives you the possibility to run the application straight after macOS is launched by selecting the “Run at launch” check box, therefore you don’t have to manually open the application every time your Mac starts.
Taking all things into consideration, Centurion proved itself to be a streamlined and easy to use application that promises to improve your productivity if you want to process and handle many files simultaneously in a short amount of time and with almost no effort at all.
