A reliable and easy-to-use macOS utility to check the fan speeds, component temperatures and diagnose related issues from a simple interface. #Fan controller #Control fan speed #CPU temperature #Fan #Temperature #CPU
Temperature Gauge Pro is a well-designed application for the macOS platform created from the ground up to enable you to monitor the temperature of all heat sensors in your Mac.
Moreover, Temperature Gauge Pro can be used to keep track and control the fan speeds, run diagnostics on faulty sensors and fans, and generate a report of the temperatures and fan speeds.
The Temperature Gauge Pro app is really easy to work with since all the information is available to you from a single window. Temperature Gauge Pro can display the temperatures of the numerous sensors in your Mac’s hardware, such as CPU, GPU, LCD, Logic Board, Optical Drive, Power Supply and AirPort.
You will be able to view the temperatures of all these components numerically (in Celsius or Fahrenheit degrees) or graphically with the help of progress bars. Temperature Gauge Pro can also display the average CPU temperature on the top area of the window.
Another handy feature is checking whether the temperatures are too high if they reach a threshold line displayed on the progress bars. Moreover, the update frequency can be controlled (from 1 second to 1 minute), the default being 10 seconds.
The Temperature Gauge Pro utility monitors the fan speeds of the ODD, HDD and CPU in rotations per minute (RPM). One of the main benefits of using Temperature Gauge Pro is that it can automatically boost the fan speeds if they exceed a predefined temperature.
For instance, if the average CPU temperature is above 80 degrees Celsius, the app can immediately or gradually boost the CPU fan speed. Alternatively, you can manually increase or decrease the fan speeds of any supported component.
This type of monitoring app must implement a system menu panel for easier monitoring and, luckily, Temperature Gauge Pro has one and allows you to keep track of the temperature and fan speed of any 2 components. Moreover, Temperature Gauge Pro's looks can also be configured (smaller font, shorter titles and optional app icon).
Taking every aspect into consideration, the Temperature Gauge Pro application does a terrific job at keeping you up-to-date with the temperatures and fan speeds of your Mac’s inner workings.
Temperature Gauge Pro is highly configurable, offers an auto boost fan speed function and an essential menu bar tracker.
