SHAREit For Mac

SHAREit offers you the possibility to quickly establish a connection and share content between your desktop computer and mobile devices.

Since you get desktop clients both for the Mac and Windows platforms, and companion mobile apps for iOS, Android, and Windows Phone, you will be able to create a cross-platform network and avoid wasting time sharing data.

Once you install and launch the SHAREit client apps both on the Mac computer and on your iOS device, you must make sure that both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Within the SHAREit main window, on the desktop side, you will be able to see the connection QR code. On the mobile device, navigate to the SHAREit menu, select the Connect PC/Mac option, and then just scan this code by using the phone’s camera.

As long as the connection remains active, within the SHAREit desktop app, you will be able to see the phone’s avatar, and resume the file sharing without repeating or going through additional configuration steps.

SHAREit provides support both for sending and receiving data on both devices. On the Mac computer, you can load files to be transferred to the iOS device with a drag and drop movement. All the files will be placed in the default locations.

Similarly, if you send files from the iOS device to your Mac, SHAREit will automatically send them to your Downloads directory. All the transfers will be displayed in the SHAREit main window, and you can choose to view the respective files in a Finder window.

Bottom line, SHAREit proposes a user-friendly system for sharing content between Mac or Windows desktop computers and iOS, Android, or Windows Phone mobile devices.

The connection procedure is relatively straightforward, and SHAREit can handle virtually any type of file, at speeds that surpass the Bluetooth performance.
