NetWorx resides in your status bar and offers you the possibility to test your network speed and gather details about the bandwidth consumption. The tool is great if you are dealing with a quota based internet plan.

NetWorx starts recording data about your network traffic as soon as you launch the app, but to be able to access the information you need to go through the associated status bar menu.

Right off the bat, NetWorx detects all the available internet connections, regardless if you are using the Ethernet or Wi-Fi standard. Via the NetWorx menu, you get to launch the graph windows where you get to visualize the traffic in both cases.

At the same time, NetWorx also integrates a Speed Meter tool that can run tests and determine the Ping speed, and the average and maximum upload and download speed. Note that you can also see the current values for both parameters in the graph windows.

The NetWorx Usage Report tool offers you the option to see the received, sent, and total traffic recorded for all the users, or for each user individually. The app can provide statistical information per day, week, or month.

You get to filter the info by internet connection (Ethernet or Wi-Fi) or by on-peak or off-peak hours. Naturally, you get to reset the statistics, but note that you can give custom values to the parameters when doing so.

The best part is that NetWorx offers you the option to configure a daily, weekly, monthly, or last 24 hours data plan, and you can set alerts to make sure that you will not go over the allocated quota.
