Missive is an email client that also packs instant messaging options because it understands that team communication is often more dynamic than exchanging formal emails.

The Missive app works at the moment with iCloud, Gmail, Google Apps, Outlook, and Office 365 accounts, as well as direct messages and tweets for Twitter accounts, Facebook page messages, and SMSs via Twilio phone numbers.

It's also important to mention that, besides the usual email and chat management options, Missive allows you to organize items by label or pin important items to the sidebar.

Right off the bat, Missive will prompt you for your Gmail credentials and setting up at least one account is necessary to access its interface. The Inbox for all your accounts will be visible at all times, and you get to read messages, compose new ones, or start conversations.

By default, Missive will get your email history for the past month, but if you upgrade your subscription plan, you can extend the period (Starter plan) or get access to all your messages (Productive plan).

The best part is that, if the recipient is part of your team, you get to respond to emails with instant messages to gain more time. Similarly, you get to compose emails while communicating with your team in a chat window.

Missive offers you the possibility to invite multiple users to join a conversation room and offers members the option to compose or review the content of an email message without switching to another tab.

The Missive app also offers you the option to configure shared accounts or email addresses, provides control over the labels used within the organization, and can send desktop, mobile, or email notifications.

To streamline your interaction, the Missive app comes with hotkey support, and you can set custom keyboard combinations to navigate the content and trigger actions. The utility delivers different configurations for the app functions and for dealing with messages.

Missive brings to the table the possibility to manage multiple Gmail accounts and assign labels to your emails to find them faster. At the same time, the utility allows you to chat with other team members and compose or review emails together.
