Downloading large archives through the web browser can take a long time while managing a large number of tasks is equally challenging. Folx GO+ is a download manager that can cut the transfer time and enables you to organize them by tags.

Folx GO+ works as a standalone application and allows you to manually add download links, but also sports companion extensions for some of the most popular web browsers: Safari, Google Chrome, Firefox, and Opera.

However, the Folx GO+ app will deploy the add-ons only at the user’s request: navigate to the appropriate panel in the Preferences window to initiate the process. Note that, once installed, the extension will try to direct all downloads to the Folx GO+ app.

Folx GO+ will split each transfer into ten threads, which means that the download time will be considerably reduced. On the other hand, that also implies taking up more bandwidth and interfere with your other online activities.

To prevent any hiccups, Folx GO+ enables you to limit the download speed, either manually or by using the Smart Speed controller, which allows you to impose limits based on the day of the week and time of the day.

What's more, Folx GO+ also integrates a scheduler tool so you can specify when you want the downloads started or stopped. Keep in mind that you can also set the download manager to route the traffic through a proxy.

Each time when you add a new transfer to the Folx GO+ manager, you get to assign any number of tags. The application allows you to use an unlimited number of keywords in an attempt to make the entries more easy to find and organize.

Within the Folx GO+ main window you can also filter the entries by status: downloading, paused, scheduled, or finished.

Folx GO+ integrates a Password Manager that enables you to store credentials for servers or websites that require user authentication to allow the downloads.
