The Trello online platform offers you the possibility to organize your projects into boards and lists, as well as prioritize the tasks and collaborate with other members of your team.

The Planyway (formerly Trellius) Chrome extension pushes things even further by integrating a calendar view in the web application so you can quickly set due dates to each card and visualize your project’s development on a day to day basis.

To deploy the Planyway extension, you need to navigate to the appropriate Chrome Store entry in the host application and press the “Add to Chrome” button present on the page.

Note that the Planyway icon will be placed next to the address bar instantly, but you can choose to hide it without affecting its functionality: you will interact with the calendar via the Trello web app.

All you have to do next is to navigate to Trello and login to your account: once you load a board, you will be able to see the Planyway calendar button in the top toolbar. Naturally, you also have to authorize the extension to connect with your Trello account to be able to use the calendar.

Worth mentioning is that you get to toggle the Planyway calendar’s visibility, choose to see the entire week or only the working hours (you can change the default period via the Settings panel), and quickly navigate through weeks while also being able to see the archived cards.

All the Trello cards that already have set a due date will be included in the calendar automatically, but you also get to set due dates by dragging and dropping the card to a slot of your choice.

The Planyway Chrome extension brings a Google Calendar styled tool to your Trello web application and enables you to plan, schedule, and keep track of projects and events.

Planyway helps you review and visualize everything that happens in a week, or only within the working hours, in a well-organized calendar view, and make schedule adjustments via drag and drop.
