UltraStar Deluxe For Mac

The UltraStar Deluxe game is a port for Mac OS X for the UltraStar music game: you must sing along an audio track or video and match the voice’s pitch in order to score points and defeat the other players. UltraStar Deluxe proposes a great pastime if you are a karaoke aficionado.

To install the UltraStar Deluxe game all you have to go is drag and drop the appropriate folder to your disk: the game will not run from the volume. Once launched, UltraStar Deluxe will immediately enter the full screen mode, and you must choose if you want to sing right away, or switch to party mode.

Via the built it tools menu you have the option to adjust the game controls, change the graphic settings, change the interface theme, the lyrics appearance, and so on. Note that you cannot use the mouse to navigate the menus: all the modifications are performed using the arrow keys.

UltraStar Deluxe analyzes your pitch while you sing and grants points if you hit the appropriate notes, if you finished the lines, or if you managed to sing the golden notes.

Unfortunately, the UltraStar Deluxe project is still an Alpha release, which means that it might not run properly on all architectures. During our test, the UltraStar Deluxe app did not recognize any tracks, and the app failed to open after the first launch.

UltraStar Deluxe offers you the possibility to have fun by playing your favorite songs and be rated for your performance. The game allows you to play on your own or with your friends, but also allows you to adjust the difficulty level.
