ossia score (formerly i-score) offers you the possibility to create interactive scenarios that can control both hardware devices and software solutions during live performances or timed events.
The ossia score utility allows you to automate various actions, to setup triggers, and to make use of various protocols.
ossia score manages to bring together two types of digital automation solutions: you can program fixed time sequences while also being able to define others to be triggered by certain events.
This way, you can make use of the automation solutions and successfully run scenarios even during interactive events.
To help you create your scenarios, ossia score comes with a device explorer that can work with different parameters and a timeline where you get to add and manage multiple objects.
Ossia score keeps a structured list of parameters that feature various types of access modes.
Once you set up the devices you want to use, ossia score offers you the possibility to start creating events and developing scenarios.
The software is based on boxes that can be drawn anywhere in the canvas area as long as you hold the command key down. The boxes can be dragged along the timeline to change their timing.
Moreover, ossia score offers you the possibility to change the parameters associated to your box, add content either manually or automatically, and start recording the automations. When you are done, you get to play your scenario and even control the execution speed. Note that the ossia score project comes with an extensive online documentation where you can learn more about what you can achieve using the app’s automation capabilities.
To sum it all up, ossia score is a versatile media sequencer that can work with audio and video digital hardware and software and help you create interactive scenarios that can be executed during live or timed performances.
