    Outputting the log file to the desktop, is.. anoying. Auto Opening the file, even worse.
    I wish I could change those.
    It is free, can't complain.
    WARNING Not sure if it is safe to use!

    I hope someone uses wireshark to be sure this thing doesn't transmit anything it records to a 3rd party. Just saying....

    I keep getting the error message: Error: logKext Preferences cannot be found. Is logKextDaemon running?

    This appears after I put in my Admin password, which I know is correct. This is running on a macbook machine with OS 10.5.x ; on another iMac running 10.6.x, the program works fine.

    any help?

    @liv You have to enter your administrator password (the one you enter when you log to your computer) and then your logKext password. See the doc here: code.google.com/p/logkext/wiki/Password

    Once installed, logging is set to off. Keep trying to set the logging parameter to ON, doesn't do anything 'set variable=value'. What's wrong?

    Slows down my computer when I use it. That's about it, great program though! Any ideas on how to keep my computer fast?
