I,m a bit surprised..its a good idea..but as far as i know..all you have to do is drag and drop on Itune and its automatically is in there...where is the hick?

Great tool to put videos in iTunes. It has tons of features and works very well in processing any kind of video format. Very nice videos do not have to be reconverted first!

Very cool app!!! I have all my videos on an external drive and watch them with VLC, basically because I am too lazy to organize them (rename, find metadata, hunt for covers) but this tool does it all!
The amazing thing is: my file names are full of junk, but VideoDrive identified all of them correctly. Overall, I was very happy with those results! I feel I have a whole new video collection now and I even rediscovered some old videos :-)

This should be build right in iTunes!

If you want to have a video collection that looks like the videos you purchase in the iTunes Store, or the movie trailers you see in Front Row, then this tool is great. It fills in a description and adds cover art to movies and even TV shows and puts them in the right category.

I don't have an iPod but VideoDrive offers to convert incompatible videos for that purpose too. If you want to watch your videos in iTunes, Front Row or stream it over the network to another iTunes library, you DO NOT need conversion! And that's what it's all about!

Finally, I have my Front Row the way it was intended!!

I really like to keep my videos organised with the correct metadata and DVD covers, so I tried importing over 300 videos (avi, divx xvid, etc) in iTunes with VideoDrive. I keep my videos on multiple external disks and VideoDrive processed them all without any issues! The tool is quite fast, as it imported my collection in less than half an hour. The fact that the videos are not reconverted is a plus too as it would take for ever to convert them all. All my TV Shows are also correctly numbered (season and episodes!)

A few times VideoDrive misidentified a video because I had some garbage in the video name, but as you can make VideoDrive ask for a confirmation before saving, I could easily correct this. It would be nice to also be able to add metadata to videos already in iTunes, but maybe that's something for a future version?
