Hm, one other thing I am noticing is that the file window does not show the whole file name and there is no scroll bar at the bottom of the window. Now perhaps I could move the folder of files to the desktop to eliminate the many levels of folders it is in. :)

Very simple to use, is fast on 'normal' mode. My only 'bug' is that I cannot get it to clear the files without quitting the program and opening again. Have 'selected all', but the 'delete' stays gray, keys don't work either. Something I am missing? Other than this it is working great! Rating is really a 4.5...and if I can get it to clear files it will be a 5!

This is a very helpful archiver! Let's you create split files, set password, create single files, etc.. It's light and practical, exactly what I wanted! Thanks guys!

Helpful, but has some issues with splitting archives. You can only split them into 100MB files max, so if you have tens of gigabytes of data to archive, expect a crapload of .rar files kicking around. There IS a selection for USER DEFINED file size, but it doesn't work. You select it, but are unable to enter a file size into the window, so it's pretty much useless. This didn't work in the last version either.

Also, it still says version 1.09 at the top of the menu bar, even though it's listed as 1.10 on the softpedia site. What's the deal with this.

As I said before, it can be a very helpful program, but the inability to define a file size larger than 100MB kills it for me.

Wow - the hard part was the manual command line install of RAR for Mac OSX. The easy part was installing and using SimplyRAR.

The only thing that brought this down was the lack of options. However, it did have the ones that counted like splitting a file and such. Nice job. Add in an (COMMAND ,) Preferences window with a few bits inside and this program would be a 5 star program.
