REAPER 4.22 user reviews

I have been a Cakewalk Sonar user for many years now and will continue to be so as that is what I am used to. However I must say that I have recorded a couple of quick experimental songs on reaper and find it a very good program which lacks only a few things that the big guns provide. I think this program is snapping on the heels of the bigger names and certainly out runs the rubbish like Mixcraft. People who are just coming into the DAW scene should download the trial version of Reaper and try it out. I am quite stuck with my Sonar but I would recommend this program and for the price ($40.00) I think it is a Steal. I paid for it so that I could watch it's progress as time goes on. I will keep experimenting with this program just out of interest.
