    Phoenix Viewer is my client of choice for connecting to Second Life. It's packed full of features that I hadn't realized I needed until they were available to me, and now I can't imagine using SL without them: the built-in and very informative radar, client-side AO, vertical IM tabs, keyword alerts, and so on. It is clear in Phoenix's development that the people behind the viewer are regular users of SL and know what kinds of improvements are likely to enhance rather than impede residents' experience of their world. In addition, the inworld support is more accessible than anything LL provides.
