One: There is Version 2.8 out there, and my girlfriend and betrothed told me, that she thinks it very easy to use, so the GUI and Ease of Use just got one further Star up :)

I've been using Phex for years, and it is the workhorse of my downloads. No other gnutella-App I have (OSX) is capable of managing hundreds of rare downloads without straining my system.

The GUI isn't as fancy as I know it from other Programs, but that way, it is efficient, non obstrusive, and I can change a multitude of settings in the GUI.

Also phex offers the ability to effortlessly create private networks, a feature no other Gnutella App (I know) grants you, so you can create a subnet with your friends or collegues very simply, and only members of your subcommunity can join in (passowrd-protected, password = network-name).

Even though I also use other programs, phex is always a reliable choice, and the betas often work as well as releases of other software :)
