    If you don't like unnecessary clutter, don't use this update---it adds a useless Intellipoint icon to your system tray. (Left- or right- clicking it has no effect.) Another example of Microsoft's need to control your PC. Keep Intellipoint 7.0 instead.

    If necessary, you can still download v7.0 from Microsoft's site; just Google "intellipoint 7.0".

    To function properly, make sure your os x mouse preference's Primary mouse button is selected to "Left".
