Metes and Bounds is a prerequisite to understanding geocashing, surveying, mapping and understanding how to plot GPS waypoints and Lat/Long information.

The program concentrates on survey closure and accuracy, so plotting deed information assures if the survey was done correctly. The graphics aren't the best, but I would rather have accurate computation software than good graphic ability.

This is a great program for the beginner who wants to learn surveying or understanding the fundamentals of geography. Also by plotting Google Lat/Long, I've found multiple data errors in satellite positioning, so don't use Google Lat/Long as part of your survey data.

A good GPS must be able to plot positions within a "sub-foot" or within 12" accuracy. Many of the GPS on the market have a 10-12 foot accuracy which is no good for surveying. Great program!!!
