With some background knowledge in MPEG-7 and C++ you can easily use the Lib to read and write MPEG-7 documents. The Detailed Audio Visual Profile can be used to validate the documents against a xml schema to make sure you are on the right track and it also guarantees interoperability. Everything comes on different platforms and for free. What else do you want?
